Puppy and dog training isn't rocket science and if a trainer tries to get you to believe that, walk away.  It does, however, take common sense, compassion and a lot of hands-on experience with dogs.  So whether it's housetraining, mouthing and playbiting, chewing destructively, submissive urination, socialization, puppy-proofing your home or even tips for new parents and moms-to-be, this is the real deal.   

You'll find only the most progressive, positive techniques at Dog Days and everything has been proven and time-tested on literally thousands of dogs by Certified Professional Dog Trainer Suzanne Harris and the Dog Days staff.

For more detailed puppy obedience training, we recommend you research positive reinforcement classes in your area (a good place to find good puppy and dog trainers is The Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and enroll your pup as soon as possible, since a lot of problems can be avoided with early proactive training, and the socialization inherent in a class setting is absolutely crucial.   

Without doubt, there is nothing more important in a dog's behavioral development than early positive socialization -- not even basic housetraining!
