About Suzanne Harris
Suzanne Harris has been training puppies and adult dogs privately and in
weekly group classes for over 10 years. She started Dog Days, one of the
country's first cage-free dog daycare and training centers, in 1998
after working as a veterinary assistant. Because of her positive
reinforcement methods and down-to-earth manner, Suzanne's facility grew quickly
to serve an average of 250 dogs weekly, expanding to include boarding and
grooming in addition to daycare, group classes, private training and early
puppy socialization.
Worldwide, Suzanne has provided hundreds of dog
owners from Texas to Thailand with common sense, effective and
positive solutions through the online "Ask A Question" http://www.dogdaysusa.com/ask.cfm feature
at Dog Days Behavior Center online. She is featured in "Positive
Puppy Kindergarten", a 2-hour instructional DVD, and is the author of
Positive Reinforcement Puppy Training, a 130-page puppy training
instruction manual, both available at http://www.dogdaysusa.com/positivepuppy.cfm.
Suzanne is certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog
Trainers as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) and also holds a
Bachelor's of Science degree from Northeastern University. She has been a
professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) since 1997
and a member of the American Boarding Kennels Association (ABKA) since
2002.
Currently
Suzanne conducts telephone consultations by appointment. She also
conducts private in-home dog behavior consultation, dog and puppy training,
daycare training and board & train in the Atlanta, Georgia
area. If you reside in the Atlanta area and would like to set up an
